So, you like what you’ve seen and you’re feeling ready to apply for a job with House of Fraser. Fabulous. Our application process is really simple – if we like what we see and hear from you too, then you’re just the kind of person we’re looking for.

It all starts with you getting to know House of Fraser and the types of roles we have on offer; even if you don’t see anything you want right now, we can keep you up-to-date with job opportunities, news and events we’re hosting – so create a profile and we’ll be in touch as soon as we’ve got something you might be interested in.

If you have found the job that’s right for you and you’re ready to apply, be sure to send us a CV that reflects you and your personality – you can even upload your LinkedIn or Twitter profile if you prefer.

From there, we’ll guide you through the process, which can change depending on the job you apply for. To start with, you can generally expect a conversation with one of our lovely recruiters, an online assessment, or maybe even a video interview.

Once we’re into the nitty-gritty of the second stage, we have a range of assessment methods we might get you to do – from assessment days to interactive interviews or even a presentation. All will become clear!

Q: Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes! But, to get the best out of the recruitment journey, we recommend that you only apply for the roles that are suited to your skills.

Q: Will I be notified on receipt of my application?

Yes, we’ll drop you a note to let you know your application has been safely received.

Q: Will I get feedback after my interview?

The Resourcing team will be in touch following your interview to let you know any feedback, outcome & next steps.

Q: When can I apply for a temporary Christmas role in one of your stores?

We start recruiting our Christmas teams from September onwards. Please register with us and we’ll keep you informed of our Christmas openings, Assessment Days & events.

Q: I work for a Brand Partner or Concession at House of Fraser – do I have to apply online?

Yes. Our Brand Partner & Concession staff will go through the House of Fraser recruitment process, selection & assessment journey in line with external candidates.

Q: Can I apply for the same role in different locations?

Yes you can but if you are unsuccessful at any stage we ask that you take the feedback on board and take 6 months or so to build on your experience. At that point though, we’d love to hear from you again

Q: What is the dress code for interview?

We are a fashion business so we love to see people’s individual styles as long as it ties in with our vision of premium brand and portrays a quality appearance to those you meet.
